Based on your business needs and requirements, you can tailor your sending model by selecting either shared or private IPs. Each option offers distinct advantages, so take the time to assess your needs - because the choice is yours!

  • Shared IP addresses (IP pools)

A shared IP pool refers to the specific group of IP addresses that are used collectively by multiple users of Elastic Email platform. Because the IP is shared, the actions of all users impact the IP's performance and reputation. This means that factors like email deliverability and speed can sometimes vary, as they depend on the overall email volume being sent through that IP at any given time.

TIP: Our PRO accounts always have sending priority on shared pools!

Benefits:

  • Cost-effective solution, ideal for low- to mid-volume senders

  • Warmed-up IPs for immediate use

  • Delivery Team Supervision - you handle the sending, while our Delivery Team manages the rest, ensuring smooth, continuous oversight of sending processes across shared IP pools.

  • Private (dedicated) IP addresses

A dedicated IP address is exclusively assigned to your account, offering a more secure solution designed to maximize the performance and deliverability of your campaigns. With a private IP, you have full control over its reputation, allowing you to optimize deliverability by adhering to best sending practices. Although a dedicated IP requires a careful warmup process to reach its full capacity, it provides significant advantages for high-volume senders. When appropriately warmed and maintained, a dedicated IP offers unparalleled reliability and performance for consistent, high-quality email delivery.

TIP: Private IPs can be combined into specialized sending custom pools, so that selected campaigns or sub-accounts can be assigned to the designated private IP pools!

Benefits:

  • Maximizes the chance of your emails reaching the inbox

  • Minimizes the risk of being blacklisted, blocked, or bounced

  • Enhances your credibility as a company and sender

  • Enables the creation of private IP pools for clients or campaigns

  • Provides long-term consistency and flexibility
