Primary Purpose

The Team Chat is used for instant communication, allowing team members to coordinate daily work, accelerate decision-making, and share updates. It ensures that internal discussions are transparent and easily retrievable.

Core Chat Features

The module supports various features for flexible and organized internal communication:

  • Send private, one-on-one messages to any teammate.

  • Create dedicated group chats for specific teams, projects, or topics.

  • Quickly share files, links, and documents within direct messages or channels.

  • Easily search message history to retrieve specific information or past discussions.

  • Use reactions and emojis to provide quick feedback and enhance message comprehension.

Integration with Help Desk Conversations

A key function of the Team Chat is its integration with the Help Desk, allowing for seamless internal consultation regarding customer conversations.

  • Internal Consultation: Team members can use the chat to discuss customer conversations privately using internal notes within the Help Desk interface.

  • Mentioning Teammates: The @ mention feature ensures that the right team member is notified and brought into the discussion on a specific customer conversation, keeping the consultation directly tied to the relevant customer issue.

This integration ensures that all internal discussions related to a customer issue are contained within the Inbox platform, promoting clarity and accountability.
