This article contains instructions on the old version of Elastic Email dashboard. If you would like to see the new dashboard version of this article, please use the following link

The "Contact profile" screen is the repository of all the relevant details about your contact's origin and present statistics and activities. The information is divided between the following tabs:

Details, Lists, In Progress, Log, Activity

Details

The following fields are available for building contact profiles on the Details tab. Each field is followed by its corresponding merge field for use in your templates.

Custom detail fields are available to be edited. Only those that are required to be managed by our system cannot be changed.

Email - {email}

First Name - {firstname}

Last Name - {lastname}

Company Name - {companyname}

City - {city}

State/Province - {state}

Country - {country}

Postal Code - {zip}

Phone Number - {phone}

Title - {title}

Gender - {gender}

Birth Date - {birthdate}

You can learn more about merge fields here.

Lists

This screen displays all the static lists and dynamic segments your contact is present on. Keep in mind that if a contact is present on two or more lists and you intend to send one campaign to both of these lists - the campaign will be sent to this contact only once. Our system detects duplicates and does not allow sending one campaign twice to a single contact at the same time.

In progress

This tab shows all emails that are currently sending to this contact. This is a more contact-oriented version of the "In progress" screen available in the Activity section of the dashboard.

Log

This is the email log of the particular contact. This is a more contact-oriented version of the "Email log" screen available in the Activity section of the dashboard.

Activity

This tab contains latest major activities this contact partook in, like subscribing, unsubscribing, status changing or bounces.
