Please note that this option is available only on Marketing plans, and grandfathered accounts where "audience" tab is available.

Landing pages are dedicated web pages created with a single, focused objective, typically used in marketing and advertising campaigns. Their main function is to capture user information or encourage specific actions, such as signing up for a newsletter, downloading content, or making a purchase. They are often customized for targeted audiences or specific campaigns, serving as a key tool for enhancing the efficiency and success of digital marketing strategies. With our new Landing Page Editor, you can effortlessly create personalized landing pages, enhancing the overall user experience and boosting the success of your events.

Starting With a Landing Page Creator

In order to start working on a new landing page, just navigate to Audience/Landing Pages screen. All changes made in the editor are saved automatically.

If you wish to create a new landing page, you can choose between two available editors: the "Classic" editor offers all the existing features, while the "New" editor allows you to explore new functionalities.

Please note: the New and Classic (old) Creator have slightly different editing capabilities - it won't be possible to edit the old landing page in the New Editor - and vice versa. More information about Classic Creator is available in this article

TIP! Landing pages can be easily sorted based on the creator used to build them. Under each landing page, there is a description indicating which creator will open the landing page (New, Classic).

  • Landing Page Designer tool and its functions

Our Landing Page Designer allows you to build your page using available building blocks, similar to the drag-and-drop editor used for creating templates.

The Designer makes it easy to create a landing page with or without a form. You can also add multiple forms if you need to. All the important settings, like subscriber lists, double opt-in settings, and notifications, can be set up in the form block.

New image editing - Add your picture and use the Fill/Fit option that allows to fill the entire column space with an image without needing to crop it to fit the provided content. Not enough? Use the brand new Border Radius option to create images with different shapes!

New unique fonts - the fonts were added that are only available in Forms and Landing Page Creator

  • Landing Page Creator - The new gallery

Do you need inspiration or a ready-made design? No problem! Visit our well-stocked gallery and choose something for yourself. From now on, the gallery is a built-in element of the editor. Take advantage of our unique templates and use ready-made solutions!

Link Customization

For new landing pages, we’re introducing the ability to customize the URL. Here’s an example of what a user-generated URL might look like:

example.elasticemail.com/conference

This URL consists of three parts:

  1. Your subdomain - "example"

  2. Your domain - in this case it's "elasticemail.com"

  3. Suffix - "conference"

  • The subdomain is assigned to the account and can be customized by the user

  • The domain "elasticemail.com" is fixed and cannot be changed.

  • The suffix is set for each landing page and serves as the unique address for that specific page.

(!) Those rules will not be applied to Custom Branding Subaccounts.

  • Subdomain features:

The subdomain is set in the following cases:

    1. If it hasn’t been set by the user yet:

      • It appears as a required step when creating the landing page URL.

      • It can also be set in the user profile.

    2. If the subdomain has already been created:

      • It can be viewed or edited in the profile.

Note: after changing the subdomain, all previous and new landing pages will have a new address.

The subdomain name must be unique across our entire database. This means that if one user creates the subdomain myname.elasticemail.com, another user attempting to use the same name will be notified that it’s already taken.

  • Suffix:

The suffix contains a unique name for each landing page. This means that a user can create an unlimited number of landing pages on their account, and their URLs could look like this:

    1. example.elasticemail.com/ebook

    2. example.elasticemail.com/conference

    3. example.elasticemail.com/special-offer

There is validation for the suffix name within the account, as only one landing page with a specific name can exist on the same account.

Users also have the option to leave the suffix blank (only for one LP), in which case the landing page will have a default URL like this: example.elasticemail.com

Social share

Each landing page has its own section where the user can specify the information that will appear when the landing page is shared for example on Facebook.

Additional options available in Social share:

  1. Preview Image - will be shown if the user shares this page for example on social media.

  2. Title - will be shown when the user shares this page on social media and also should be added as the page title visible for example on the browser tab and search results.

  3. Description - should be shown when the user shares this page on social media and also should be added as a description visible on the search results.

Publishing

In the final step of the creating process, the user will find the landing page link:

(!) When you'll decide to delete the entire Landing Page from the UI, the link will no longer work (the 404 page will be displayed).
