How to Connect Elastic Email with Zapier?
It's simple. To let your apps talk to each other, you need a special token called an API key.
Log in to your Elastic Email account.
Go to Settings > API.
Create a new API Token, give it a name and copy it to your clipboard.
Log in to your Zapier account and click "App Connections".
Search for "Elastic Email" in the app directory and select it.
When prompted to connect your account, paste the API key you generated earlier.
Why Integrate Elastic Email with Zapier?
Integrating Elastic Email with Zapier brings several key benefits to your marketing and communication efforts:
Streamlined Communication: Ensure your emails, like confirmations or newsletters, are sent at precisely the right moment with the most current information.
No More Manual Data Entry: Forget about exporting and importing contact lists. Zapier automates data transfer between your apps, like your CRM and Elastic Email, instantly.
Improved Customer Experience: Deliver timely messages, such as order confirmations, within seconds of an action, directly boosting customer satisfaction.
Real-time Automation: Use events from your CRM, e-commerce store, or signup forms to instantly trigger email actions in Elastic Email. You can also send engagement data back to other systems for better customer insights.
How to use Elastic Email and Zapier.
Let's look at some ways you can use these new features to improve your workflow:
Enhanced Security Monitoring: If you need to keep a close eye on your data, you can set up an alert. For instance, if a team member accesses a specific contact list, you can receive an instant notification. This helps you monitor activity and quickly spot anything unusual.
Boost Sales Team Efficiency: Imagine a potential customer clicks a link in your email about a product demo. With Zapier, you can set up an instant notification for your sales team. This allows them to follow up while the customer's interest is high, increasing the chances of a successful connection.
Automated List Hygiene: Maintaining a clean contact list is crucial. You can automate the process of removing unsubscribed users. Set up a Zap where a "Contact Unsubscribed" trigger automatically activates a "Remove Contact from List" action. This ensures that all unsubscribed users are promptly removed from your account, helping you maintain compliance and avoid accidentally sending emails to them.
What events can you track? (Triggers)
Triggers are events that start your automation. Elastic Email offers a variety of triggers to help you react to your audience's actions:
Contact Added: Fires when a new contact with Active or Engaged status is added to your account.
Contact Added to List: Triggers when a new contact is added to a specific list in your account.
Contact Unsubscribed: Fires immediately when a contact unsubscribes via campaign links or manual actions.
Email Opened: Triggers when a contact opens an email from one of your campaigns.
Link Clicked: Starts your automation when a contact clicks any link in a selected campaign.
Specific Link Clicked: Triggers when a contact clicks a pre-defined URL in a specific campaign.
Contact Triggered Automation: Fires when a contact interacts with an automation workflow (joins a list, opens an email, clicks a link).
Get User Lists: Triggers when contact lists are fetched from your account.
Tasks Elastic Email can perform (Actions).
Actions are the tasks Elastic Email performs after a Zap is triggered. You can automate several key management and sending tasks:
Add Contact: Adds a new contact to your account with custom fields.
Create List: Automatically creates a new contact list in your account.
Delete Contact: Removes a contact entirely from your Elastic Email account.
Delete Contact From List: Removes a contact from a specific list.
Send Campaign: Sends a full campaign email to a specific list or segment.
Send email: Sends a transactional email to one or more recipients. Supports CC, BCC, attachments, and templates.
Unsubscribe Contact: Changes a contact's status to unsubscribed.
Find Contact: Searches for a contact by their email address.
Find Contacts in List: Searches for contacts within a specific list.
Important: How to Update.
If you are already using Zapier and Elastic Email, you must manually select the new version of the integration in your Zapier settings. This will give you access to all the new features mentioned above.
